About MangoGlee

Many small tasks do not need a large desktop application: converting a document, checking a word count, preparing an image, or creating a QR code can often be completed in a few seconds. MangoGlee collects these focused tools in one place with clear instructions and no account requirement.

The project is designed for occasional users as well as people who need a lightweight utility during writing, studying, document preparation, or web development.

Browser-based tools process files locally whenever the browser has the required capability. Image compression, image conversion, QR generation, word counting, JSON formatting, Markdown conversion, and several PDF tools are designed to keep the input on the device.

PDF to Word uses server-side processing because it needs LibreOffice, text extraction, and OCR. The uploaded file is placed in a temporary working directory for conversion and the temporary files are removed after the request finishes. Video information and downloads also require a server request to the source platform.

• Avoid requiring an account when an account is not necessary for the task.
